Affordable housing in Gurgaon makes a great bet for investors





Gurgaon, also known as millennium city is touted to be one the fastest developing cities in Northern India, with a spate of developments over the past few decades. The innumerable new projects in Gurgaon launched by major realty players have made the city a perfect destination for investment for both national as well as international buyers and investors. The rapid development also indicates assured returns on both the small and big investments.  

Till a decade back Gurgaon was under developed, but India's opening its doors to international market in the wake of liberalization and globalization, was a paradigm shift for the city. A spate of blue chip companies and giant corporations shifted their focus to Gurgaon. A good number of companies entered into the space and set up base in Gurgaon. This resulted in increased demand for commercial as well as residential spaces in the city. A good number of reputed builders and developers started showcasing their interest with slew of new projects in Gurgaon.

 One of the major construction in the city is Dwarka Expressway, a 14 km stretch also known as Northern Peripheral Road (NPR). The expressway will connect Dwarka in Delhi with NH-8 at kherki Dhaula and will pass through Pataudi Road. This expressway is also expected to enhance the connectivity and cut down the traffic woes between International Airport & Gurgaon. The place also shares an excellent connectivity from the northern parts via the Sohna Road and in the East via the Golf Course Extension Road.

The Sohna Road further connects to the Delhi-Jaipur expressway which is a 4 lane highway connecting the satellite city to Delhi. Gurgaon enjoys a robust connectivity that attracts many investors hailing from different sections and strata of society. Many builders are also launching projects targeting the middle class section of the society thereby pushing affordable housing in gurgaon. Gurgaon enjoys the privilege of being the first satellite town to run their own private metro know as rapid metro. This metro is linked within the satellite city and offers an easy and fast access to other parts within the periphery.

Gurgaon, also offers a lot of advantages as a residential hub. Since, the city is home to most of the blue chip companies and MNC'S, people usually prefer to buy homes close to their workplaces. This had triggered the demand of residential property in Gurgaon. With a spate of residential projects, many builders wanted to cater the needs of all the strata of buyers. This shifted the focus to affordable housing in Gurgaon.  Builders came up with meticulous projects backed with robust infrastructure and top notch amenities at affordable prices within their budgets.


Buyers were spoilt for choices as a number of promising projects were launched in a go. It made a great bet for the early investors and end users. A significant change can be observed in the market that gave a high boost to the residential property in Gurgaon. Proximity to various well-known colleges and facilties, banks, hospitals and malls are the primary reasons why the city emerged as a prime residential hub.


Gurgaon is now a well-settled town and growing at a good pace. The city has bright future prospects both as a residential and investment destination.
